Stage 7, was as promised a bit of a parade for the Duo’s. Jake and Dax, Breck Epic/ Notubes did their fast thing and rode with the fast guys, I’m sure having a bit of fun on the ripping last bit of trails at TSE. For the rest, the Ciclismo teams, and the Zimmerman’s rode a slower, but still mildly uncomfortable pace throughout the stage. There was some on course PBR, as well as an extended stop at the “Bar” eerrr… Checkpoint… There may or may not be GoPRO camera footage.
The GC stayed the same, with Jake and Dax on the top step, The Zimmerman’s in second, and Mike and Craig from Ciclismo in 3rd.

Overall the racers had a great week. The overall feel of the Duo class is a bit different from the experience the Solo class provides. Having raced both myself, I cant decide which I like more, but each offers a really unique and positive experience. I will say, its nice having a friend by to pull you around (for 27 miles) when you crack as I did one day. Find a close match that compliments your skill set, and you’ll have a great week. Worst comes the worst, do it for the sweet pictures.

I think you are all a great bunch of people and strong bikers. I want you to know we still have room for gustes at Seven Mountians family owned campground. We are located directly across from the Boy Scout camp entrance on 322. Clean bath house with hot showers. Check out our web site.
